Mail On Purpose™ is a brand of This Is On Purpose LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our marketing website at mailonpurpose.com, contact us about our services, communicate with our AI assistant through our pages at app.mailonpurpose.com, or engage us to provide email marketing, landing pages, or related services.

We also use an internal email marketing and CRM platform that can host public pages. Some pages may eventually be operated for different businesses. If a page identifies another business as the collector of your information, review that business’s privacy policy for its own uses of your data. This policy addresses our own business activities and our processing practices; it does not authorize us to market to another business’s contacts.

1) Information we collect

• Inquiries and contact details: name, email address, optional phone number, company information, form entries, and other information you choose to provide.
• AI chats and communications: your chat messages, AI responses, any information you share in the conversation, chat/session identifiers, email follow-ups, and notes from human team members. Chat transcripts may be saved on our platform and associated with a contact or subscriber record.
• Subscriber and campaign data: email addresses, subscription choices, list memberships, suppression and unsubscribe status, tags, segments, campaigns, and related records we manage for ourselves or clients.
• Client service and migration data: lists, templates, sending settings, campaign history, approved access credentials or connected account information you authorize us to handle to perform work.
• Technical information: limited device, browser, referral, page, usage, and request information processed by our hosting providers for delivering the service, security, troubleshooting, and, where enabled, analytics.
• Payments: billing details handled through payment processors when applicable. We do not intentionally collect full payment-card details through inquiry forms or chat.

Free guides and buyer's guides: If you request The Email Platform Escape Plan or another free resource, we use your submitted email address to deliver that resource, including by personal email, and respond to related questions or requests. Requesting a guide does not, by itself, subscribe you to a recurring newsletter. The guide may include affiliate recommendations, which are identified where applicable.

2) How we use information

• Respond to your questions, send requested pricing or service information, prepare quotes, and communicate about an inquiry or customer relationship.
• Deliver and support newsletter production, email sending, landing pages, CRM management, automations, migrations, and other agreed services.
• Operate AI-assisted conversations and allow authorized team members to review or join chats and follow up.
• Maintain subscription preferences, consent records, unsubscribe and suppression lists, and protect email deliverability.
• Secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve our services and meet applicable legal obligations.

3) AI chat, human review, and contact records

Our public chat experience identifies itself as AI. Messages are processed to generate replies through AI model services used by our application. Authorized members of our team may read the conversation and may take over or join it. Chat messages and replies are stored as server-side conversation records; a browser refresh may start a new session but does not necessarily delete saved messages.

If you share your email address or name, we may save it in our CRM as a contact or subscriber record and associate it with the conversation so we can follow up about your request. Providing an email for a question is not, by itself, a request to receive promotional newsletters. Where we offer marketing subscriptions, we distinguish those preferences from ordinary inquiry follow-up and honor applicable unsubscribe rights. Please avoid entering passwords, payment-card numbers, medical information, or other sensitive details in a chat.

Third-party hosting and AI providers may process chat content and request metadata to deliver the service. Their retention and processing practices depend on the provider and service configuration; contact us if you would like details about a particular conversation.

4) Email marketing, subscribers, and client lists

We use information you submit to answer your inquiry and provide services. We may also send commercial email where permitted by applicable law and consistent with the permissions or preferences associated with your address. Marketing messages include a way to unsubscribe. We do not treat a contact record or list assignment, by itself, as proof that you affirmatively opted in to marketing.

For clients, we may process or manage subscriber information on the client’s behalf under our agreement with them. Client-owned lists are not added to our own marketing lists simply because they are processed using our tools. Different businesses using the platform should maintain their own sender identities, privacy notices, preferences, and permission records.

5) Marketing website cookies and Microsoft Advertising

On portions of mailonpurpose.com (our Netlify-hosted marketing website), we use an optional Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) integration to measure visits from ads and some inquiry conversions. Our website’s implementation is designed to wait until you accept optional advertising tracking before loading UET. If you reject optional cookies, you may still browse and submit forms. We do not intentionally include the name, email, phone, or free-text content of website inquiry forms in UET page-view events.

With your permission, Microsoft may receive page URLs, activity and referral details, device or browser data, approximate location inferred from network information, advertising identifiers, and Microsoft click IDs. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement. Consent-based campaign parameters and click IDs may be included with a Netlify-hosted form submission.

You can change the optional advertising tracking choice for this website using the Cookie settings control below: Cookie settings. This control applies to this website, not automatically to separately hosted pages or third-party sites. Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking through this integration, but does not erase prior data received by a third party.

6) Base44 application and platform data

Our application at app.mailonpurpose.com is hosted separately from the marketing website. As of this policy update, our inspection of the application code for our public AI-chat landing page found no Microsoft UET, Clarity, Google Analytics, or Meta advertising pixels. That application-code inspection does not establish whether Base44 itself performs infrastructure logging or built-in traffic analytics. We will review applicable platform settings and update this notice if material practices change. The Netlify site's cookie controls do not control Base44.

7) Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to host our sites and applications, process forms and communications, provide AI-generated responses, deliver email, operate CRM functions, analyze performance when enabled, and handle payments. These may include Netlify, Base44, and the email and AI infrastructure supporting our application. We may also share information as necessary for legal compliance, security, or a business transaction. We do not sell client-provided email lists as a business practice.

8) Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, although no online system is completely secure. We keep information as needed to respond to requests, provide services, preserve unsubscribe records, meet legal obligations, or maintain appropriate business records. Chat transcripts currently do not have a fixed automatic deletion schedule. If you want a saved inquiry or conversation reviewed for deletion, please contact us. Some information may be retained for legal, security, backup, or suppression purposes.

9) Your choices and privacy requests

• You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable exceptions.
• You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in those messages or request removal using our contact form.
• You may change optional website advertising tracking through the Cookie settings control above.
• For records controlled by a separate client or tenant, we may need to refer your request to that business.

For privacy questions and requests, use our Mail On Purpose contact form. Please identify the email address or conversation involved so we can locate the relevant records. Do not submit passwords or government-issued identification through the public form.

10) Children and updates

Our services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. We may update this notice when our services or practices change; the date above identifies the latest revision.
